Connected for Good (CfG) Fund

Connected for Good Fund went live on 1 August 2026. It offers financial support and assistance to households in Argyll & Bute. The Council in partnership with Bute Advice Centre, ABCAB, ALIenergy and the Community Food Forum will support households who have a low income and no access to cash savings through this fund. The support provided can support daily living expenses.

The initial payment is for £100 with a further £100 payment made (if the household engages with supports provided). A third, exceptional circumstances, payment of £200 may be awarded following discussion with one of the partners listed below – six months on from the initial payments.

Partners can assist with submitting the application however, it is the council who make the decision as to whether a household is eligible at any stage of this fund.  Households may also be considered for a Crisis Grant to meet any immediate needs for help with daily living expenses.

Applications to previous funds are not considered therefore there is no barrier to households applying for Connected for Good. Households can only apply once during the period of this fund.
